This page covers the most common setup and troubleshooting steps for browse.love and the browse.love bookmarks browser extension.

1. How the extension works

  1. Open x.com/i/bookmarks.
  2. Open the browse.love extension popup.
  3. Click Scrape my bookmarks.
  4. Wait for the local scrape to finish.
  5. Click Upload my bookmarks to send the saved bundle to browse.love.

2. Common issues

  • If the popup says to open the bookmarks page first, make sure the active tab is exactly x.com/i/bookmarks.
  • If scraping stops early, reload the X bookmarks page and run the scrape again.
  • If upload fails, keep the local scrape in the extension and retry the upload after refreshing browse.love.
  • If X changes its page structure, the extension may need an update before scraping works again.
